She serves as a board member for NAPAFASA a national non-profit dedicated to the Asian American experiences in behavioral health and reducing drug abuse. She’s also on the board for her San Jose State University Filipino Alumni Network (FAN SJSU that provides scholarships. In this episode she shares her journey of finding meaningful work in the field of peer support and the process of coming back from the burnout that came as a result of obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Public Health. She emphases the importance of choices and options, finding community, and living a life in accordance to ones values.
